What's Included in the Price of a Wedding/Reception?
Included is 8 hours which starts with the same-day rehearsal to the end of the reception or 10 oclock which ever comes first. We can keep the bride and groom separated for the rehearsal, if preferred, then dress and work with the photographers until the wedding time.
Carriage Lane Inn (CLI) includes in the rental price tables, chairs, linens and decorations. Indoors we have 48" and 60" round tables with padded beige banquet chairs and white chair covers and white floor length tablecloths with white or black toppers. Our decor is without color; we use greenery, mirrors, green ferns, candles and white flowers. This way, you can bring in your own colors and still use what we provide, as well. In the entry, we provide a large fresh floral arrangement in white and green unless you have a Wonderful Wedding Weekend and then we will match the colors of your wedding.
Our brides usually want the wedding outdoors. We include up to 150 white wooden garden chairs at our beautiful open arbor that's already decorated with greenery and tulle (you may add color if you wish). If it looks like rain, we simply move the ceremony indoors. We have had thousands of weddings and maybe 1% indoors because of bad weather. Check out the history of Saturdays throughout the past years. In TN, it mostly rains at night. If it rains in the daytime it is normally over by 4 or 5, so we have weddings scheduled at that time and don't have very many misses.
Keep in mind the price includes us setting up your products to release you from the stress of setting up the wedding. You have plenty of time to dress and take photographs while we arrange your table decorations, favors, napkins, sand or unity products and guestbook. We will play our wedding CD music or your CD mix or you may have live music. We have a director on wedding day to make sure everything's being done to our high standards, and they also direct and tell the wedding party when to "go" down the aisle for the ceremony, etc. There are so many of our weddings that do very little, if any, decorating because they feel it's beautiful the way we have it already!

How many guests can the Reception House accommodate?
The reception house can accommodate 150 with a dance floor. The two large rooms at the front of the building can accommodate 60 and can be used for people to have their own gatherings without the loud music, where they can talk, and the closest family and friends are in the large banquet room for 90 with the dance floor.
The house is narrow and long so looking at the front is deceiving unless you tour the interior. Many people drive-by and look at the front and think "too small", missing out on a great venue because they never see the large banquet room or the Secret Wedding Garden.
The outdoor wedding area can accommodate 150.

Do you allow outside caterers?
Yes, only a licensed caterer may use the kitchen for $300, food must be completely cooked and must use plastic tableware and bring in all serving trays and stuff. We will provide water, oven refrigerator and tables for displaying the buffet. Our staff will not be available for kitchen help or clean up after the event. Be prepared to cut the cake and wrap and take home leftover cake or foods. Take out what you bring in, including trash and bottles. Leave the building as clean as when arriving or deposit will not be refunded.
We also cater at CLI and include in our catering price all the foods, drinks, dishes and staff. Our staff will also cut and plate your cake as long as you use our catering and it is included in the price. The fees included in the catering total will have tax 9.75% and a sevice charge of 20% added.
You may bring in your cake.

Is there ample parking for my guests?
Yes, either by self-parking in and around our houses or by valet parking at the doctors office a few doors away.
If you are expecting 75 guests or less (including wedding party), we provide a parking attendant, included in the rental price. Estimating 2-3 people per car, we have 50 parking spaces, therefore valet isn't needed. The wedding party normally has the most cars since every couple comes in two cars. We park the last to leave the wedding at the doctors parking lot on Bell Street. If you choose, we can arrange valet service for $300 per event.

Yes, you bring it in with the alcohol and bartender fee of $300 for under 75 and $400 for over 75.

How many rooms at the Inn for overnight guests?
There are 16 bedrooms and 16 baths in all the adjacent houses. Each room has it's own TV/DVD and many fireplaces and oversized jetted tubs.
Makes for a restful wedding and family reunion. No one has to get lost trying to find the place.
